This board sure is quiet, must be watching Apple and Facebook news.
Garbage, should be investing in "real" proven companies like SI, GE and UTX.
Besides being a great company, SI is a good stock to ride the euro up.
Good to hear you're still around.
Actually, I got totally out of the market in March of 2012.
I came back at the end of the year and bought SI and UTX (big industrials) for my IRA.
I'm a former employee of both companies.
Both companies have done well so far, but it looks like the rally is in jeopardy today.
I see SI and European markets are taking a big hit this morning, I hope it's a short-term hit and not the start of another pullback.
There's been a lot of fresh 2013 capital moved into the market, not sure how long that will keep up.
At this point in my life, preservation of capital is more important than big gains, so I'm not sure how long I can stomach an extended pullback.
