    • Not necessarily to have a play in Regulus, but if you're having to choose between Alnylam & Isis, I'd go with Isis. It has 24 drugs in development & should have 4-5 in phIII by year end & one infront of the regulatory bodies for approval. Good luck.

      • I agree, there's no comparison. Not only does ISIS have more cash than ALNY they have more drugs farther along in the pipeline and they have already successfully have gotten to where they are. Also, ISIS owns almost all the patents to ssRNAi technology, almost all the patents in regards to antisense, they are the world leader in gene splicing, although AVII has some weight in this area, they own 51% of Regulus, they are the world leader in Bicyclics which is their 2.5 generation technology, the world leader in ENA if that has any use, one of the world leaders in LNA technology, and also one of the world leaders in aptamers. Not to mention they were the ones that developed the technology for the PLEXY-ID the instrument that made the first diagnosis of the H1N1 flu virus. ALNY also has two lawsuits pending after just getting, and probably losing their previous lawsuit. To me, no comparison. t
