Are there any lab techs or doctors posting?
Per poster - Rail's post:
Quick Test versus Culture:
True positive- 24
True negative- 120
False positive- 12
False negative- 3
Please correct if am mistaken, but my understanding is as follows:
True Positive = 24 samples, where NNLX and Culture both agreed
True Negative = 120 samples, where NNLX and Culture both agreed
15 samples where NNLX and Culture did not agree
My initial assumption was that the NNLX was not as accurate as Culture. Could it be POSSIBLE, that the NNLX test is correct, and the Culture one is incorrect?
From the data, only know that they do not agree. Curious if any folks that deal with culture on a daily or professional basis, think it is possible that the NNLX could be MORE ACCURATE than the Culture results? Could the length of time for a standard test have anything to do with the final answer: negative at 72 hours, but positive later?
Just trying to understand why these medical professionals are so positive, when they made this report; but with lower sensitivity and specificity numbers than I was personally expecting...
Am NOT saying NNLX is more accurate, just working to understand the difference. Seems either is technically possible. Right?
Only in my opinion;
Thanks for your input.
Could you give us your overall thoughts as to the results, whether positive or negative.
Also, if you could maybe go into more detail about specific areas of the poster to help clarify things that may have caused some confusion (see the posts above).
So that is why you changed your picture with your avatar whereing a man skirt!!! haha
Noting wrong with setting goals. Good luck with your book. Hey who knows if/when NNLX takes off yoou can publish it youself!!!!!!!!!
Winalov, it is not a promised land, it is a "Promised Island" (the name of my book I authored which is great but have not published yet) because some of us here will be able to afford our own personal islands. Bret, Petro, Parent, Down home, DB, Marathon, etc, etc, etc. Truenorth, you in yet? Better test the water.
"That's it. Let's try to get the masses excited for the feast ! "
Hello Omar, you just got "The masses excited". Just got my feet wet and bought in with laughable amount of 3.3K of NNLX.
I have followed this Co. for long time, feel like I know you Gentleman pretty good. Is this a truly "promised Land"
Don’t know much about details, no medical experience however reading postings and verifying information it seems to me there is a chance for making some $$$.
>But know that NNLX and others are working on the next generation of BNF, which appears to be with an Aptamer - replacing the antibody.<
Yes, I fully grasp the Aptamer process and realize that will take time in regards to production phase but in a buyout situation .... huge nugget.
Back to this topic imo we are more accurate than culture === HUUUUUUUGE!
<<Are there any lab techs or doctors posting?>>
I wonder why the lab techs and doctors( some claimed to post here) aren't commenting ? I guess not needed because it seems a few here stayed at a holiday inn express.
