Anyone know the status of the marketing team

Thought they announced last summer there was going to be a new marketing team or campaign. See no updates relating to that.

    • I trust Bret to make the right calls here; he knows the pitfalls and costs of commercialization. As a shareholder and someone who has run national teams in the Biotech and lab space for years, the costs are tremendous. You need the right type of leader willing to do the leg work and roll up sleeves and the time has to be right in terms of getting funds set aside to hire. He is making things happen, but in very tiny companies like this, patience is challenging for shareholders but I am long.

If he's so knowledgable on things then how is it a message was sent out about plans for N-Assay last summer being marketing and shareholders are still waiting on word of it ? Was all the details involve getting that N-Assay test going really well thought out ?

        From Website

        April 05, 2013:
NanoLogix plans to begin marketing this summer of their new N-Assay Multiwell Diagnostic test. The N-Assay is a machine-readable test that will be available in an assortment of size configurations for detection and identification of a variety of bacteria. Tests to date have provided consistent results in as little as 30 minutes with both high sensitivity and specificity.

Well in an article not too long ago there is word of a sales team being added THIS summer to help market the products( appears from the quality documents BNP needs something helping). I suppose that top notch marketing team weren't doing so well ? Seems the company really knows how to plan and execute things don't they ?

From article titled "THE BUG HUNT"
"Barnhizer now is planning to add a sales team by the end of summer to help market the products."

Looks like another perfect set-up for Barnhizer to later claim he was misquoted when things don't work out and he gets called on it. I think a lot of this aspirational/forward-looking stuff gets put out there as much to keep the uber-faithful salivating-- BTW it's about time, IMO, for another update with the stock sliding again--or to see if he can stir-up some interest from established players in the space. Intent to accomplish may indeed be there but the track record on execution, as you point out, is important when determining the likelihood of delivering on such statements.

Putting together a competent sales team is a seriously challenging and highly costly endeavor. It doesn't appear anyone currently at the company has even a modicum of experience building out a sales force in this space. And unless he once again hires from among the uber-faithful gushing about him on this message board, I doubt Speedracer is going to be able to recruit people willing to work selling NNLX technology mostly for company paper or without a solid base salary.

    • Are you saying NNLX didn't come through on a forecast? Never!

      • Seems to be the rule not the exception.

      • lol... if you want to invest in a penny that comes through there is always aactf, this is going to be the next sglb of the solar microcap world.

You have a 6 M market cap microcap that is reputable with actual scientists and engineers leading the company unlike nano. And you have actual sales contracts and manufacturing line installations with major multiple billion dollar companies like first solar foing on right now. Their technical expertise and product pipeline is going to be growing multiples faster than the solar market as a whole which is already explosive so you get the double multiple growth effect plus a micro capitalization. And it is a stock with 0 pumping and 0 awareness, in fact I officially call this the first aactf pump let the games begin.
