I know this is a uranium board but I do have a question concerning lead...I want to buy IVW.TO and I have done my due diligence... but I want to ask this knowledgable board if this is a good risk- reward venture... Someone from this board posted an incredilby interesting chart on how the supply of lead has dwindled to the lowest level in five years... to me this seems like a no-brainer... with such a short supply of lead its price only has one place to go.... up up up... just like some other metal... uranium... IVW.TO is the only pure play lead company so I put the pieces together and figure a year out its price will be significantly higher... any feedback would be greatly appreciated... I truly respect the intelligence from this board ... thanks
If you are looking to buy lead.. maybe you should take a look at Teck Cominco on the tsx. they have lead, zink, gold and a plethera of other metals plus amazing earnings. The ticker is Tek.sv.b on TSX, and yep i do own it good luck
I don't know where you are going to find a better play than IVW. There are a billion Chinese and a billion Indians, and they are going to be buying lots of lead acid batteries for cars, trucks, ect over the next few years. That's a lot of lead. You can also count on it taking many years before any more lead production comes on line.
