I have a subscription to the speculative investor and John Murphy. They are both calling a market top in March or April. Let me ask you guys what you think about their predictions and how it would affect your investing decision. Any and all input is appreciated. Do you think there is a lot of investing merit to this approach to investing. Thanks Tom
I think anyone who calls a top or a bottom is nuts. If Murphy could call that he does not to bother with a service. Since he has a service his customers expect him to make a call.
I think the best approach is to let the market decide. The investor should buy or sell based on ACUTAL markets conditions, not what the latest tout is on CNBC or some analysts upgrade or downgrade. Just watch the market each day, you will know when its running out of gas, then you make your decesion based on facts, not someone's elses guess.
I use Gary Kaltbuam service (garyk.com), he never predicts, rather he interprets what is happening and makes buy or short recommendations based on the current market action.
Anyway...just had to chime in...i hate these guys that go around predecting...like Kramer.
