Today's drop in Whole Foods will end up as major egg on Dines's face tonight on NBR, since he recommended it the last time he was on the show, Oct. 5, 2005... down 36% since then. Can't wait to see the look on his face when Kangas brings that up...
Well, I can tell you that Toll Cross Securities has been publishing a junior urnanium index since back in early March...
A) Dines is a liar, or
B) Maybe he's not as 'expert' as some of you think
Same thing applies to the Geiger Counter Ltd. uranium fund, which has been trading since the beginning of July.
He either knows about it, and lied - claiming Pinetree was the only uranium fund. Or, he doesn't know about it - and thus doesn't deserve his all-knowing uranium 'guru' status... take your pick.
jpart, I keep trying to tell you that if you weren't a cheap bastard and bought the letter you would have known we sold wholefoods months ago at a great profit. You really are probably a great guy, but you are starting to sound really really stupid.
"you would have known we sold wholefoods months ago at a great profit"
I knew he was stopped out - read the thread. Doesn't change the fact that it was down since he recommended it (even stopped out at $54), and in about 2 hours they'll put a chart of it up and ask him about what happened there...
'More sellers than buyers, I guess Jimmy.' Unfortunately, he won't have his bimbos around to distract people from the facts of that chart...
Is it justified? Perhaps. Will it make him look bad? You bet - and with an ego like his, I can't wait to see his reaction.
Have a nice weekend.
Of course I know that he was stopped out - it doesn't change the fact that on the show, they go through the peformance of the guest's last picks up through that day's close.
They'll put up a Whole Foods chart (featuring today's decline), and it will make Dines look bad - regardless when he got out. Pure and simple, bubba.
The health advise that Dines has is great. Beyond the stock picks. On TV they had a segment on increased levels of ms and other illnesses I am sure are caused by all sorts of corporate food stuffs.
