which small to medium miners to buy?

If you have already purchased Cameco, Denison, Uranium One and Paladin stock, which smaller miners should you be thinking about purchasing.

There are quite a lot to choose from.

    URZ Uranerz Energy Corp
    URG UR-Energy Inc
    URRE Uranium Resources, Inc
    WCULF White Canyon
    UEC Uranium Energy Corp

If you just have to pick one or two out of the above which ones would you choose and why?

    • If you've got spec money to spend, take a look at Altius Minerals [ATUSF.PK]. It's not a pure uranium play but has interests in many minerals including gold, nickel, rare earth minerals as well as uranium. They have recent catalyst activity that ought to increase their visibility and profitability. The best summary I've come across is on their own website...

Researching them for uranium plays what actually caught my eye was that they also have a tiny interest in Voisey Bay. I had followed VB for years having invested in a mutual fund that made a fortune investing in that nickel play well before Inco's purchase, but it's what they're doing now that got me involved recently...

    • If you have exposure to CCJ, UUU, PDN, DNN, then I would be looking to add some ETFs, such as NLR & URA.

If you want more leverage, then I would prefer, URG, URRE, MGA.TO, PNP.TO.

They are extremely leveraged to rise in Uranium price. They have good management (yes, including URRE who have won the ALL important litigation).

They also seem to have the blessings of some high profile gurus, besides tie up with multinational companies, such as with MGA.To.

They have good cash in their balance sheets, and "appear" to have connections with hedge funds. You can check out their charts and make up your own decisions.

Happy, Healthy & Profitable 2011 to All !
