Reactor crisis in Japan is largely over

This is not going to end quickly. There is still going to be a major clean up and what to do with the reactor and its core? No doubt some if not all of these reactors will be decomissioned, I think repair is out of the question. Its not the same as capping a oil well blow out. Still i do think the sector will rebound once the declare the situation under control/stable, and more so once evacuation orders are lifted and then again once food and water warnings are decreased/over. Could be some time yet.

    • They may bring nos. 5 and 6 back, as long as they didn't use sea water on them. The others are toast, but were scheduled for decommissioning starting this year any way. They just got an extension, but they are at their projected life expectancy when they were built.
