    Stop with the Japan people!!

This is a short term event. It will go way. This is not a 1970's three mile island event that sent America hideing from nuke power( np). If we walked away from np now gas would go to 7.00$ per gal. We would take oil to make energy and leave transpertation short. This is a great buy. Wow I wish I had more dry power!!!

Full disclosure.. Hearts out to the Jappanees people

--- I PROMISE you otherwise, as the cancers that will result for this event will prove horrendous!

Says you, the ignorant basher. However every other study ever done following the atomic attacks in Japan and Russian power plant disaster says otherwise.

Childhood thyroid cancer was the only one elevated and I wont duplicate posts I have hade earlier. That is not looking like it will be a big issue in this case due to the quick response by Japan vice the denial of the event as what happened in the Ukrain.

    • <g>, Lol...

--- Nuclear Power is "stopped dead" for now, with new developments on hold & probably so for a very long time!

    • I see in your reference "nuclide" and "emmiters" but no "nuclide emitters."

Maybe you should go study your own reference smart guy.

I think you are talking about fission fragment decay.

But my original conclusion stands. You dont really know what the heck is going on here and your tring to talk this stock down.

This event however bad it is now will not result in a lasting large scale health or environmental damage.

    • I like it but, Its has a good run. How much left. What is the validation of the company? Looks like I have some DD

    • Buying NG is like buying showshoes in the summer. Right now there is a superabundance of the stuff. Companies are moving overseas where there are possibilities of finding similar shale formations. Poland is an early entry.

In the US Line has a lot of NG which is hedged years out. They have changed their tactics looking for oil or NG liquids. So about the time the last hedges play out prices should be good.

There needs to be infrasture build out to get NG where it is needed or where it is not in large supply. Lot's of jobs in such a build out. Sleepwalker might do well to look into that. However, NIMBY is always there.

    • Yo,
"FTK" (I'm in) could become a big beneficiary to recent events as spelled out below:

Suggest checking that chart of theirs (long term & short term)

      gl on your trades

    • Spot on !! so, what is the trade? I like the big boys but, how about a wild cater. I was trading a small name called UTOG.OB I did ok but I don't trust them.

    • In the US, natural gas, very simple. Takes less time and effort to get new generators up and running. Plenty more NG found every day. Cheap, even cheaper this year as the snow pack in the NW use will cause a large increase in the power produced there by hydro pushing NG south and lowering the price. An incentive to bring more NG generators on line nation wide.

Let's see three years as opposed to ten to fifteen years. NG vs. nuc new capacity. If lawyers get involved add and another five years to each.

About two to three years ago people here did not believe that shale had such a large amount of untapped gas. Now the stuff is coming out our ears. Even our sleep walking president and Nobel Prize winning Sec of Energy who admits he really doesn't understand the petroleum market are starting to realize that fact.

    • Was right about alphas.
