Both! I started out in October 1992 working for
the Advanced Transmission Technology group of
AT&T Paradyne. This was a small group, maybe
35-40 people who were involved in the development
of DSL chip sets for ADSL and HDSL (CAP based).
Later, when Texas Pacific Group bought AT&T Paradyne,
they looked at our little group and figured it
didn't really belong with the more equipment-oriented
Paradyne, so they made two companies.
