Well perhaps "2 years" is a rally killer

Well, no charge into the stock this morning! Maybe the 2-year-for-USA approval quote quickly cooled everything.

Not that in theory the rest of the world can't provide a vital market, but most Amer. investors want a US market NOW, especially where this isn't about a game changing drug.

Anyway, very disappointing opening, given new articles.

    • Mark and the boys can't speculate "if" the procedure will qualify for "Fast Track" status and therefore have to assume at this point that standard protocal will apply. Surely they WILL apply for expediting the approval process. Personally, I would prefer a slow "sustainable" buildup in the price and hope that's what we see.

    • I'm not really surprised. Despite the great results, I think many will think twice about jumping on the PLC bandwagon (again). PLC has a knack for over promising and under delivering. I think many will wait for evidence that PLC can captialize on the good results and execute a business plan. It would be nice to seem them get expanded CE labeling and get some traction in the EU while we wait on the FDA. Two consoles a quarter isn't going to cut it. Perhaps financing has been holding them back, but this obstacle has been removed. I think PLC needs to demonstrate to the investment community that they are capable of building a business around RG.

      • Guestimating that anything like 5000 RG procedures a year would make PLC "a real company." That could happen in Italy alone. It might be possible to get an almost-adequate selling effort going in Italy by year end.

PLC remains too small and weak to do the needful stuff quickly. The trend seems to be our friend now, but it'll be hard for it to get steeply positive. And if I was Mr J&J, I would not be enthusiastic about making a bid high enough to excite shareholders until after there was clinical experience on RG "in the wild."
