imo. a larger company would pay $500 million for plcsf or

or at least pay for fda trials and become partners with plc for $250 million...................wonder if plc even would want a larger company in the mix...........................my hunch but not definite plc is close with the larger investors that finance plc and they might want the whole pie...............................even $100 million imo. would lure partners for renal guard partnership w/a larger company

      • A couple years ago, PLC had patents and European data, and stood with a substantial negative value (except for those patents) and a $10-100MM mountain in front of it to get US approval. Nobody made a publicized offer for the patents (or for the whole company). My best guess at the time was that we could have gotten out at $0.25 a share if someone offered (which was a huge gain over the market price).

Today, we're something near halfway through the trial for US approval. Company ex patents seems to have risen to around zero value. Enormous dilution. Still no publicized offers. It's pretty clear that the company is nowhere close to able to sell devices and supplies on US scale. So the game is about who buys what (and those other 'w'-s). My best guess is that a major medical device player buys the company after the trial succeeds (but before FDA rules) and we walk off with a small multiple of the quarter we woulda coulda shoulda a couple years ago. The big boys are expected to run more expensive trials than the likes of us, so they'll wait for results to be announced.
