Solid as a rock but given mgt. plans to spend out thru the summer,it's tough to see a stock bust out until the second half of the year.JMHO.

Hi JB, yes the spending is significant, but with Superior Growth as a counter-weight, and rapid ROI, it could be the catalyst for early positions being taken...have a good day, Nips

      • coolcat,

Do you know if they have any monies allocated towards advertising to the general public, as in commercials? My concern is that there is not a broad enough base that is aware of what SPRT is offering.

The Geek Squad is advertising and has built a budding brand name for themselves, but I would still gather that most of their business is referrals from Bust Buy and others.

Any market is a tuff market to serve if the market you are "serving" doesn't know that you are wanting to serve them.

I saw SPRT's spot on their website and it was ok. It had a regional feel to it, although the chick had first class appeal. I think they should choose the right time to go head to head with the Geek Squad by running a commercial showing a house being raided by the "Feds"/Geek Squad versus the remote non-intrusive offering that Support Soft offers-- "A softer approach".

Anyway, enough of my meager stab at advertising. But I do think they have to have a meaningful way to create name brand in the space or they will just be begging for more crumbs from the customers they are already serving... Who knows maybe they feel that their present customer base is good enough to gain some traction, although I think not.
