If I am reading some messages on here correctly and on twitter correctly, there seems to be a belief that the Jefferies presentation is what Alan was referring to on the call. Presenting at the Jefferies conference is much different than a press conference. The Jefferies conference is attended by numerous companies and Unilife themselves attended the same conference last year. So I am a bit confused about the excitement of them attending this event.
I agree. This should be his last straw. And not just him, his management team as well. I'm sure its his management team who makes the critical decisions and Alan is just shepherding them. In my view the whole management team needs to held responsible - Alan, Ramin and the ones under.
Proof that the press conference is coming soon.
1) Unilife management will be in NYC these 2-3 weeks, CEO mentions looking forward to seeing some analysts at the press conference. This is convenient timing with the two presentations and gathering of analysts.
2) Sale of shares earlier this week might be a requirement for debt financing by the life science company.
3) Award of shares to upper management may be a result of a key milestone reached. Fri night could have been when the major contract was finalized.
Just to clarify for you, last month,Alan said announcement of deal will be in a few weeks at a press conference in New York.He can announce the deal before or after Jeffries presentation and hold a press conference before or after Jeffries,.Of course he can be FOS too, as we know he has proven to be a circus carnival barker selling snake oil to shareholders in the past -so its a tossup what will really happen with this 'reported' MEGA deal.
Dilution last week was really a head scratcher and makes absolutely no sense if positive comments Alan has been making comes to fruition.
Alan is not to be trusted but even a s-h-m-u-c-k like Alan can be truthful once in awhile.
