Both go ex-div tommorrow. DPO is at a 7% discount and pays a 26% yield vs. DPD which is at a 5% premium and pays a 15% yield. NAV performance YTD isn't that much different. No brainer.
DPO's dividend is practically all Return of Capital!!! You are getting your own money back!! Wake up people, DPD has only 4% Return of Capital, the rest of the distribution is from EARNINGS!!!
We owned this fund before during normal times and sold at a profit. We bought it back, then it dropped and now we are in positive territory and intend to keep it for a good while if the bottom stays away. Good luck.
