It will be rectified and they pay back some cash and everyones happy while the stock goes back to 80's quicker than you can say settlement. This billing issue happens all the time and sometimes the government is wrong.
Yeah there were only 13 cases in the DOJ complaint totaling about $500k over 5 years--all cases where the patient was classified "crisis" and should have been "routine". I wonder how many cases the company could show over the same time period where a patient was classified "routine" that should have been "crisis"? Is this all that came out of a 4 year investigation? Seems like this long overhang was feared to be much worse. Hospice actually saves the government money relative to curative care.
