Just went through the paperwork on the merger. My number of shares increases by 30% and my dividend per share will be $0,03 a month.Any way that I calculate it, the yield drops to less than 2%.
Am I missing something?
I don't believe PACE has ever paid a dividend so if you held PACE, your yield could not be dropping. Maybe you held Avenex, in which case your income would indeed fall and that was the reason Avenex sold off on the merger announcement.
Apparently. For a start the dividend is not .03, it is .135 C$ per month.
And the merger took place a year or so ago, so it's taken you a long time to get this far.
PVX holders got a ~30% increase in dividends as a result of the merger.
