    Motorola and semis

    If Motorola claims that the average price of a cellular phone will drop by $4 to $5 this year, how does Morgan Stanley up semis who cater to the cell phone industry at the same time? Somehow, I don't see Nokia, Motorola, Siemens, etc. absorbing the reduced prices without pressing their suppliers for the same cost savings.

    • the story of this time is "VALUE". the P/E in semi is low, can't go lower. the bottom is in place. the light is in tunnel. once Iraq is liberated by Bush and so will be misdeast. then everyone Arab will buy american PCs, cell phone, pistons, going online with AOL and cable modem. If you don't buy now, it will be too late.

      INTC is moving fabs to desert because of favorable climate for chip manufacturing;
      CSCO is benefiting big way because Arabs need to get networked. MSFT will be dominating force because everyone will use mircosoft windows and office. ORCL wins big too. you know the reason.

      No wonder we are going to liberate Iraq,liberate Iran, liberate N. Korea, ....
