and brcm is bringing dual core, dual sim android processor (and i think will be followed by one for aapl also) along with players like nvidia and mrvl who are also trying to break into this.
so the pie is big and brcm is leader. a company that is 10 to 12 times less (or even 15 times if athr valuation is given to brcm) is not a threat.
infact brcm will be poised to gain more as it moves to integrate and build everything on their own with their leadership in mobile/cloud area and the android chips slated for 2011 mid delivery is for that.
one thing is that it will make stock more violent with shorts trying to kill every time spreading fear for sure using qcom/athr keyword :-)
Yeah but, everyone wants The Integrated Chip it seems - QCOM, NVDIA. So now Snapdragon can be it. Since BRCM lacks a baseband processor, how does it get to The Integrated Chip? Am I oversimplifying this?
