I bought way back in March 2012 at $38.00. This stock has facilated well below $38.00 with a low of $29.00. And a measely dividend to boot. I have averaged down to $34.50 a share and think I will see soon and buy QCOM.
company just does not get any wallstreet respect, does it?
what I would love to see the company do this year - they got Nokia for 2G, now if they can branch out of Samsung for 3G, would really verify their strategy. Not that having Samsung means nothing, that means a lot. But being able to branch out into chinese or indian or japanese brands would be really nice.
nice, got some chinese no name to adopt their one chip solution. Now a couple/few more and we should be off and running cause that verifies brcm's all integrated strategy. In contrast with nvda with the wrong strategy, selling coal to Newcastle as they used to say in the old days, who's just sitting there digging huge loses and going nowhere fast.
BTW, Samsung's using qcom's chips for the bulk of their Signature Phone, no doubt in part due to the integration of the qcom chip.
When the bulk of the market turns 'smart' with all integrated solutions, brcm should shine.
