If that is the case, why would an institution sell the stock at $100? Has to be one of two reasons:
1.) They think it will not reach the $200 target in the next twelve months, therefore, they want to get rid of it so they can get that sure double in twelve months elsewhere. 2.) They drive the price down as far as possible while buying more of the stock so that the $200 double will equal the $300 they were expecting.
Which is it? Funny though how SSB covered themselves by saying that any concern was short term and already priced into the stock. Does that mean in 2-3 weeks if others start announcing the inventory issue is now taken over and they are upgrading the stock, that SSB can say, "well, we said it was short term only?"
YOU GOT IT RIGHT!!!!! I am buying as much as I can. After the Western Cable Show this week in LA, and the new products Scientic Atlanta has with the new cable set top boxes.....(news is already out about that) their upgrade etc, we will get an upgrade too! Thats the name of the game. Hold on...
