Well if UNH are combined, then UNH should go down a tiny bit. It will create a sell demand. Which is good for me because I'll wait a few weeks and buy more or I am long. It is good if you own shares because UNH is a buyback stock. However, the amount drop will probably be trivial.
Speaking of mutual funds, I will not buy them anymore. Even without fraud, careful investors can speculate where the funds are buying and buy those stocks and where the funds are selling and sell those stocks. Furthermore, you can look on the holdings section of yahoo and buy shares directly and avoid all annual expenses :).
