    Folks, MS Office has fallen off the top 100 on Amazon. Even the MS Office upgrades are off the top 100. Only the Academic version of Office selling for $92.99 is in the top 10 (at #9). MS Works is at #50 selling for $47.99.

    Even StarOffice 5.2 is selling better that MS Office. It's at #78.

    OpenOffice is being downloaded at a rate of 583,165 per week (5/05 to 5/11). Additionally, the source code is being downloaded at a rate of 112,809 per week, up from the previous week rate of 56,999 (4/28 to 5/04).

    Microsoft will see a significant decline in Office revenues due to StarOffice/OpenOffice. And this is MSFT's most profitable division with revenues of around $10 billion out of a total of $28 billion.
