Microsoft "neutral," estimates raised

NEW YORK, July 20 - Analyst L Alan Davis of DA Davidson maintains his "neutral" rating on Microsoft Corporation (MSFT.NAS), while raising his estimates for the company. The 12-18 month target price is set to $32.
In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that the company has reported its F4Q07 results broadly in-line with the estimates. Microsoft�s Client revenues were boosted by more aggressive Vista revenue recognition, the analyst says. The company repurchased shares worth $7.2 billion in the quarter, DA Davidson adds. The EPS estimate for FY08 has been raised from $1.68 to $1.72.
