    • there were over 75000 open interest of 32.50 calls and only 12000 32.50 puts you didnt think they would let all those people win did you buy the feb 32.50 puts and you will make some money going forward

    • You are correct! This was completely manipulated by hedge funds and MM's. Every single option in MSFT was down today. Both the Puts and the calls. This was absolutely planned and illegally correlated to take the avg retail investors money, throw a fit for the Fed to see they are demanding a rate cut and to continue to steal money from anyone not told they were going to dump the market. Hedgies sold everything they could get their hands on. Imagine if just one time we all could get together and move the market against these cheats and no matter what they did, it would be to no avail. When the Fed surprised them back in Sep with a rate cut, many hedgies bit the dust the next morning, screaming foul. Then Crammer screams for his cronies that they were going broke. Some day he and those like him will have to give account to God for all of his admitted lying and scamming.

Then when you state the facts and write about it, there is always these guys who show up and state that they somehow understand. Yea right!

I do not know what individual investors can do, so I will pray.

    • Damn they got me again. Last time I am stupid enough to play options on this type of setup. Bastards have the deck stacked and the TV talking Heads backing them up. Just amazing

The people do not want wild swings this market.
It was down crazy this Monday. Went up on Tue, Wed, Thu.
Friday profit taking controls gold, oil and asian stocks..

That is what they want. This is good.

MSFT will go up when Fed cuts interest rate again and also we have state of union address, election etc.,

For one day prodit taking you are worried. MSFT target is $40 by lots of analyst and the company is doing good.

I Bought more shares today at 34+.

    • Was Mr. Softie's guidance with or without the severe recession/depression we are in? The PROs know and they used the retail investors' lack of knowledge as a platform to sell into strength. Typical Wall Street bear market.

      • We may be heading towards a recession (or perhaps a period of slower growth) but we aren't in one yet. A recession is defined as two subsequent quarters of negative growth. US GDP growth in each of Q2 and Q3 was over 4% and 1-1-1/2% in Q4. (see http://www.usbank.com/cgi_w/cfm/commercial_business/sub_global/econ_bus_resources.cfm

I know, the "Street" anticipates recessions, as it has predicted 14 out of the last 7 recessions.

If a gain on the MSFT report was not made due to bear market fears how do you explain HON which held gains on a similar report? My guess is because HON is 78% owned by institutions vs. only 58% in MSFT's case plus the greater number of shares and derivatives traded in MSFT makes it a juicier target given that there are more non-pros owning it and trading it.

IMO, it certainly appears that selling down is a combination of the big players trying to scare the little guy off the street in addition to some of the bankers and funds needing to sell any wins fast to recover liquidity to meet regulator requirements or pay off clients that are bailing.

    • I agree 100% . The mm's have control of the markets and like pool, the can put the 8 ball in the corner pocket at will!!! We are just behind that 8 ball!!!! Classic example of manipulation and it is impossible with the past 1/4 to sell off this stock so hard!!!! This wall street is a manipulated, out of control game and the sec is a total disgrace to sit by and watch what everone knows is a manipulation by big money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This stock should have been at least $37.50 at the 52 week high today, at the very least!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Another rason you should be VEY worroed. The barometer has been set very high
and the stock fdropped. VERY BEARISH.
      Any pronounced recession and TIIIIMMMBERRRRR!!!

    • They also talk about profit taking as if it were and everday event.

Joe six pack puts his money into the market in the hopes that it will grow but the crooks take the fruit off the tree just as it gets ripe.

Rules should be changed and people should be in jail.

      • Investors are going to take profits, and there is nothing illegal about it. There is nobody forcing you to buy equities, for the long or short term. I suggest you get out and stay out of the markets until you get control hostile emotions, otherwise you will lose your shirt, and worse, your physical well being could also be affected.

I hold MSFT shares and was looking for more of an upside today as well, but it appears the fast money dumped a lot of tech leaders along with MSFT,CSCO, & INTC.

      • MARKET MANIPULATION!!!
I use Fidelity for my stocks investments. I bought sharees right after the close and just my order was filled MSFY began to tank. I called my rep at Fidelity and complained and de bs I heard is that the filled my order at the best price of that moment. I asked about Fidelity ads stating that they will exec orders at the BEST price and the answer was - they did! The price tanked $2 from my purchase price of today. What a rip off!
        MARKET MANIPULATION!!!
