So he sold $1.3B in MSFT stock. What does this mean for the company going forward? Check out this twist on the story tell me what you think! I like the point made here!
<I couldn't find any record of him selling shares since 2003. Have you seen one?>
No, I haven't, and I did search. IIRC, Yahoo long ago listed him as an insider stockholder, and then at some later time he was not listed, and I could find nothing to account for the change.
The answer to the question is OBSCENITY.
SB has 9 billion worth in MSFT shares !!
Is the work of SB worth 9 billion plus the salary and benefits received in all the years
working for the company ?
Again is a gross obscenity , shareholders should get more out of msft
Do Not Catch a Falling Knife...I told you so.
Like MS Vista, check out new Windows Phone 7 before you sign 2 years contract.
If service providers giving you a free MS Phones for 2-years contract: be careful.
really dont understand what the problem is,, he still has a bunch of shares, Bill gates sold over 400 million share, nobody seen not to talk about this. sold 100 million this month, Cant blame him for wanting some cash,
Sounds like that's the story and they're sticking to it.
After all it is November and tax/investment planning season is upon us. Plus most of the time consuming product launches are done for this year. Maybe Mr Ballmer's nagging financial advisers finally got some of his time.
Even at stock option sales volume of this size the market cap is so large that there was little impact. Daily volume for MSFT is extreme even without a Ballmer trying to do it all in one week.
