I am all for rewarding effort over sloth, but anymore it doesn't seem to matter...people who start out with nothing gan't get ahead, while the rich get richer. the extention of the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy saved me more money in one year than the average working stiff will make in a decade. Sure, I like the bucks, but I'm not blind to the situation we're creating in this country, and I don't really want to live in a walled compound with hoardes of starving people pounding at the gates. that's where we're going with this if people like yourself don't wake up and decide to share the wealth a bit. I'm not saying handouts. I'm saying people who work hard should have a reasonable chance at success, and right now they don't. as the tail end of the baby boomers, I had that chance, and I made good. I don't see those kinds of bootstrap opportunities much anymore.
