Ohio voters tell Obama to pack sand

SB-3, Ohio votes for no mandate for individual health care.

Looks like Ohio is still a swing state that doesn't want ANYONE in government over-reaching.

    • Why don't you answer this question ?

Have you checked the wealth increase of the top 5 % in this country in the last 30 years?

A single, not truly hurting, swat on the butt will likely get you a fistfull of knuckles in the teeth.

Its best to avoid violence. The result of this kind of violence can be seen every day in people like hawcreek who has been unable to think for himself his entire life and who now parrots the anachronistic nostroms of the far right because he was brutalized by this kind of meaness when he was a child

Ohio voters will accept the Affordable Health Care act as soon as the supreme court oks the legislation when Justice Kennedy votes in favor of the bill

    • When I went to elem school the shop teacher was the place we were sent. He had a paddle hanging on the wall. I got it once, not again. That pretty much took care of everything around the school relating to bad behavior.

    • Why that far back? How about just good Tea Party values, conservative morals and capitalism, and away from leftist, anti-capitalism/socialism that has destroyed the wealth in this country.

    • ++Basically the decline began with modern liberalism, no spanking of bad kids, welfare encouraging mothers to have kids without a family structure, often with multiple baby daddies.++

That's always the answer of modern conservatism, if we could only get back to the slave labor of the old days, segregation, an acceptance of beating our children, women who know their place etc, thus it will always be that way..

    • They don't want but will get. Do you like uninsured motorists and those who ride free on the ones who pay? Obviously you don't. An insurance plan works best if everyone participates, that's why the mandate is in the new law. It's no more big govt than the requirement to have car insurance. There is still an opt out but it costs money, something the free loaders and wealthy hate to pay.

What happened in Ohio shows 65% of Ohio voters understand the new health care bill about as well as you do, which means don't understand.

The conservatives don't mind subsidizing the free loaders in this situation because Obama is in favor of making the freeloaders participate. Even if it's something that's good for the country, they'll be against it if Obama is in favor of it..

      • No one is forced to buy car insurance. Live in the city walk, taxi, bus and no requirement to purchase. It is only necessary to drive and only to protect others, that is where your personal freedom ends.
The choice for health insurance is personal as is the level of ins. coverage you buy. Not the mandated version. Fortunately the supreme court will rule the mandate unconstitutional, especially after Kagan is forced to recuse herself.
