Another good thing about Obama being elected...
hawcreek, who among the 47% that is currently receiving government assistance or is not paying any federal income tax is going to vote for someone to take away their perk? The country has changed irreversably. The country has has tipped.

  Maybe we could save some money by letting Israel take some of the heavy lifting in its defense.
  Maybe we could cut back on subsidies to oil and gas.
  Maybe we could regulate the financial industry so that it starts doing its job.

    cfury, I got a great idea. Let's no longer let oil and gas companies depreciate their reserves for tax purposes. Instead, let's subsidize companies that manufacture solar panels. Are you with me on this?
