Oct 20th MSFT was trading at $31.43 and today it has dropped by 16% to $26.43
I think now is a screaming buy. You will lot of analysts are going to downgrade now and you will also see lot of seeking alpha articles talking bad about MSFT. I won't be surprised even on this message board you will see lot of negative posts.
I strongly think now is the time to buy MSFT and sell for not less than $35 in 3-6 months time frame.
Windows 8 is world class operating system that MSFT has ever produced. MSFT still has more than 85% of market share in server and enterprise markets.
All the 10000s of apps of APPL are running on windows servers in the backend.
