MSFT, without some future guidance by Balmer on where this company is going, will languish in ignomity. First, they said Windows 8 will be its savior, didn't happen. Next, they said their tablet Surface will be the harbinger of good news. It now appears they have to pay some one to use it. What next? meanwhile millions of hapless share holders are stuck with this stock. It is time for Balmer to get his walking papers from the board!
hmmm1 I wish it was that simple. Yes, I can sell my MSFT and move on but did you know that MSFT is a major component in S&P 500 (which is weight adjusted and MSFT is a 800 pound gorilla in it), an index fund that millions of people have in their regular and retirement accounts. The horrible under-performance (price has remained virtually the same the last 10 years) affects almost everybody.
