Surface RT and Surface Pro will sell some 5-10 million unites in its first year. This $3-6 billions are fresh and new for MSFt, and MSFt is launching 3-4 new Surfaces int he coming year, in different sizes and different colors and different designes. Wake up!

Surface Pro is awesome. IMO, the surface is a bit pricey but otherwise it is ok. It is a new and small part of biz. MS is big company but bears want to focus on Win 8 start button or surface. Big deal. Surface is tiny part of MS. It is very early in the game. Wait till Haswell comes out and MS stuffs it in their tablet because it will be UL power and will run a tab all day with Intel quad core power.Then what will Apple do with their whimpy processor.

msft makes money from Offcie, Servers and Tools, and then more money from Operation systems. Much of their softwares sales are now on long term basis, and the company will be making $5-8 billionsof net profit each and every quater.
Surface RT and Surface Pro are brand new business, and last year was zero. Even if they sell 2-3 millions of them, they will still have some $2 billions of fresh new reveneu over the 1st 2 quaters. All these will be new and are based on 2 products and for the first 2 quaters. This will be an outstanding achievements, regardless of who thinks of what!!!!
