Jobless falls to 7.7% as people give up in droves now

Funny in a sad sort of ignorant way for the masses that two bits of data are presented, the jobless rate and the number of jobs created.

The number of jobs reportedly created cannot lower the jobless rate, not remotely close, yet the futures go giddy over people giving up.

At least this means we need no more of the "stimulus" that Obama has been asking for ;-).

    • Wait until those retiring have to go back to work in a few years because Obama's policies are bleeding them dry.

    • The other major reality is..Obama has SHRUNK the real economy. There aren't as many jobs even available...not even as many jobs out there than when he took over. There is no expansion. There is a contraction, and with a growing population. A contracting base that foots the bill, and Obama wants to continue to grow govt spending. A 5 th graders reality, and liberals don't get it.

    • This from a jobless Talking Chair non contributor to society, who spends each and every unemployed day, 365 per year, here. How are the chores done? Who cooks and cleans for you at Camp Wacko?

Unless, you are in an institution, or paid by Koch money through Grover. You seem to have every Grover talking point and the arrogant, ignorant, obstinance of Grover. Maybe it's both, you are institutionalized , paid by the govt I bet, and get checks from Grover.

    • They can fix the numbers any way they want, but I am looking for revenue (tax reciepts).

    • It didn't take the wingnuts long to start whining about this good news...

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The U.S. economy added a solid 146,000 jobs in November and the unemployment rate fell to 7.7 percent, the lowest since December 2008. The government said Superstorm Sandy had only a minimal effect on the figures.
