Obama’s victory was more decisive than Bush’s in ’04. Obama 50.9%, Romney 47.4%. That’s a bigger (and more decisive) margin than Bush’s victory over John Kerry in 2004 (which was Bush 50.7% and Kerry 48.2%).

Was that the one where GWB said he has mandate to spend? Or was it the next election where he lost the popular vote and the Supremes gave him the election?
Only under segregation and jim crow does Obama have no big mandate from the people, we the people.
The mandate, as Obama sees it, is going to be a shocker to his ignorant base that voted fro him. Their cliff is a whole lot higher than those successful folks that will rathole their money, and not support socialiism any further.,
I must agree. The odor emanating from That One's Administration, the Democrat Party, and the proglessive outhouse in general is overpowering. The U.N. should be all over them for employing chemical weapons. But then, the U.N. has been a tool of the liberals for decades now.
Obama is a good campaigner and good speaker. He could of said a lot of things and still gotten reelected in my opinion.
The little problem with raising tax rates on 250K is a lot of smart tax accountants and lobbyist in Washington will develop ways around the higher rates. There is not enough money in that group multiflied by 3.9% to balance the budget but it would increase revenue but not at the rate that spending is growing at. Romney might of been right when his strategy was to eliminate the deductions and work a rounds. l
