    Modern America and Social Justice

I was listening to a song by Steeleye Span called “Fighting for Strangers.” My nephew just joined the US Marine Corps. In part he has no reasonable employment options available, due to the Obama (non)Economy. In part he is following the advice of conservative talk show hosts to no go into debt to go to college or university, but instead to join the military and earn college benefits to use later.

I was thinking, “Does it really make sense for a conservative, white, Christian, boy, from the south, to go fight in a failing war for an incompetent, black radical, nonChristian, antiAmerican President?”

How does that suit your sense of "social justice."

For that matter, how does this apply to young blacks who have maybe twice the unemployment rate and more dismal opportunities, due to the same incompetent, black president that they helped to re-elect because he was black?

    Sentiment: Strong Sell
