Anyone watching Fox News knows they tell it all. In the OPINION commentary area they have one of the most watch right wing commentators on TV but with the News they are quite balanced but post truths that do not seek to offer cover for Obama.
In the overall pinion arena Fox also has some of the most liberal contributors on TV. Hawcraper and his ilk hate Fox in spite of that because it deigns to actually tell the full story without running it past the White House first.
You are nothig but faux news reruns. They lie constantly about Obama, that's why I loathe them. Bald faced, outrageous, complete nonsense spews from them daily. I only see them because I have(had) Newsmix and I could see all the time their really treasonous antics. Like where they lied about Obama telling the truth, and Candy too, at the 2nd debate. Bald faced ignorant lying, as the transcripts are there for all to see. Then there's rush, a man of a different planet.
Then there's the fact they shut up and yell over most of the people who start proving them wrong. MSNBC doesn't do that, they are very fair.
Appellate Court Rules Media Can Legally Lie.
By Mike Gaddy. Published Feb. 28, 2003
The court did not dispute the heart of Akre’s claim, that Fox pressured her to broadcast a false story to protect the broadcaster from having to defend the truth in court, as well as suffer the ire of irate advertisers. Fox argued from the first, and failed on three separate occasions, in front of three different judges, to have the case tossed out on the grounds there is no hard, fast, and written rule against deliberate distortion of the news.
The attorneys for Fox, owned by media baron Rupert Murdoch, argued the First Amendment gives broadcasters the right to lie or deliberately distort news reports on the public airwaves.
In its six-page written decision, the Court of Appeals held that the Federal Communications Commission position against news distortion is only a “policy,” not a promulgated law, rule, or regulation. Fox aired a report after the ruling saying it was “totally vindicated” by the verdict.
Rigtht Wing is a contrived term painting honest commentary as extremism. There are no rightwingers. I've asked many a lyiin liberal what they thought was rightwing about anything a supposed rightwinger says. They can't answer in substance, only attack the messenger. We do know what leftwing is...and it is extreme-ism, and can be identified in substance. Please tell me what you consider as rightwing extremism even in the opinion portion of Fox news, and even on that segment they offer up liberal commentartors to make it fair and balanced. A 2nd Ammendment supporter is a rightwinger? Someone who wants fed govt spending reduced, and the debt reduced? Someone who wants taxes reduced, and hard working folks allowed to keep more of their own money? Get real , that is not extremism.
