MSFT intentionally wants to keep it a ho-hum stock!
MSFT is almost treated like a 3.5% dividend yielding bond. After what happened to all the previous 500billion cap cos like AAPL, CSCO, INTC, it is not a bad strategy to keep it a ho-hum stock. It has broad products range with strong enterprise spend on its products and services, It is not a one-act stock like AAPL which depends on handset sales for margins. MSFT is essentially telling the street if you want excitement go chase herbalife, Netflix..don't come to us. You can see CNBC's dumping on the stock out of frustration because Balmer &Co don't want to talk to them!
