Apple is an enterprise juggernaut. It had to be said. For the first time since its founding, Apple products have won broad acceptance in the in the corporate world rather than the grudging tolerance they faced through most of Apple's 36-year history. iPad is now in use by virtually all of the Fortune 500 companies and more than 85 percent of the Global 500. In some cases, those companies have widely deployed the iPad. Other enterprises are simply testing the company's slate. In either case, enterprise acceptance of Apple's iPad is a great achievement. But the iPad isn't the only Apple product that has earned corporate acceptance. The company's iPhone is being used by more enterprise customers than ever. All the while Macs have slowly but surely made inroads into the corporate world. Apple products are now common in just about any office environment one walks into. It's a testament to what Apple has become, and what Apple has done to revamp its business and reinvent how people view the company. Simply put, Apple is now an enterprise favorite.
