No one of any age should be allowed to vote without skin in the game

If you are receiving welfare or food stamps and have been for three or more years you should not vote.

    • Again you confuse the 'economy' with the whole.
Did you know that there are issue of relevance to people outside of money ??
So every voter has 'skin in the game'
      urineazzwhole..

    • Why? Voting is based on economic station alone? We all know wealthy people tend to think they have more say, and think the tax money they pay is still theirs, but that isn't our country.
You want to take away the right of a citizen to vote on non economic issues? Why?
Sounds like you really dislike America. You sit here doing nothing all day while tens of thusands are up at 5am going to work at $8 jobs, hard work where you are racing all day for 8 hours for $64. Then their thieving landlord raises the rent because he has to play more golf.
Skin in the game? How about you and people like romney and trump, go out and work hard for $8/hr? Let you iive that way in a $1000 apartment next to the freeway for three years, then you can vote.

      Sentiment: Buy

    • There is precedent for that. At certain times, in certain places, the qualification for voting was ownership of land. (And incidentally, in such cases, if a woman owned land, she could vote. Women did not first vote after the 19th Amendment.)

    • Would you consider retirement benefits through Social Security to be "welfare"? I don't; they are just deserts for a lifetime of pay-in.

    • The 15th ammendment says:

The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.

      The 19th ammendment says:
The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.
