IE 10 crashes my video card. Of course this is a quad-core PC with a video card that was a $150 option. The OS time-out on the video card can be changed but that doesn't explain what's happening to the graphics.
Then IE 8 often has to reload web pages using compatability view.
After my oops of buying a laptop with Win 8 on it I won't be upgrading anything on my Win 7 machine for a while. I stopped using IE 9 because I had bugs, I doubt Win 10 is any better.
Back at home base they are getting worried Win 8 is suppose to wipe out all old MSFT OS's and IE fits into that but it's not happening and the more MS pushes the more scared everyone will be to upgrade anything.
Just got this in an email from Duke Energy:
Internet Explorer 10 (IE10) has not been updated to our Troubleshooting site yet, because unfortunately we are not yet supporting this Internet browser. Due to IE10 being a new version of a browser, there are still several 'kinks' that need to be worked out, and before we can fully support this new version those 'kink's will need to be resolved.
