"I thought there was something wrong with the poll when I first saw it, but it’s still like that so it might be that there may be nothing to rectify.
A poll over at Phone Arena asking what would consumers buy, GS4, Xperia Z, iPhone 5 or Nokia Lumia 920 sees the Nokia Lumia 920 on top.
But it isn’t just on top, it’s on 97.86% of which there are, wait for it “572712″ votes. That’s not 57K, that’s 570k. That looks like more votes than any other online tech poll I’ve come across (and in this short space of time).
The second option goes to the Sony.
a big Nokia/WP fan blog has redirected users to vote, or
something went awry with the votes or
someone’s played about with the numbers,
or that many people would prefer the 920.
If only this was the case in real life."
The phonearena poll was either hacked or rigged. No technophile that hasn't suffered severe brain damage would believe that the 920 would get over 97% of the vote while the second place phone gleaned only 1.1%. Those are just not reasonable numbers.
Further, the total number of respondents to the poll number over 585,000.
HAR HAR HAR!!! Seriously??? FAKE!!!
