WE have the Office 365, Windows 8, and the rest of the tools....
AS for Servers, the designs are pretty standard so we can have them manufactured by FoxConns of the world so we don't need to pay premiums to HPQ or DELL....
SO we can put a package price for Windows, Mobility, Office, Hardware et al that no one can even come close.
WE will own this business and kill IBM, AMZN, HPQ, DELL, Google as AAPL does not have any presence in this field and they are totally screwed.

ah, the cloud ... ;-)
article at computerworlduk -- U.S. cloud firms face backlash from NSA spy programs
"A Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) survey found that 10% of 207 officials at non-U.S. companies have canceled contracts with U.S. service providers following the revelation of the NSA spy program last month. The alliance, a non-profit organization with over 48,000 individual members, said the survey also found that 56% of non-U.S. respondents are now hesitant to work with any U.S.-based cloud service providers.
In the full survey, more than half of 456 representatives of companies in the U.S., Europe and Asia said they are less likely to use American cloud service providers because of concerns over U.S government access to their data."
there's a 10% haircut for cloud revenue right there. how much of that does msft own? :haha:
The majority of servers on the net are unix based (Linux, OSX), not Windows based. Window servers are losing market share. MS SqlServer is losing market share. Google has pretty much replaced most of the Office apps on the cloud already. IE is the worst browser as most developers hate it as they develop for the other browsers first. IE10 is still behind Chrome, Safari and Firefox. Enjoy this rally while it lasts.
"Office 365, Windows 8, and the rest of the tools...." and "Servers"
So what ?
What business will rely on the Cloud for critical processing ? If the Internet goes down from some technical glitch or construction or an accident ... etc. you are Out Of Business.
Maybe it will be good for Games.
Folks with the deal with Oracle that is the custodian to most corporate database infrastructure, we will own the Cloud business much much faster....
And that will push Windows 8 Mobility to astronomic levels.
