Good for smartphones and pads, but not so great for laptops where one has to constantly reach over a keyboard to touch. I find myself avoiding it.
Mr. Softie should advertise, "Get a great arm workout while using your computer. We at Microsoft care about your fitness too."
Maybe I'll get used to it but do not like it so far. Have have great new Dell 14R w/touch screen W8.
I found the ones I own to be a gift from heaven. I use computers 10-13 hours a day an am a professional developer. It is one hell of an aid to me. I guess to each his own there boobwhite.
You'll never get 10-13 hours of battery life from a touchscreen Windows laptop.
