Lots of people are switching from Windows PC's to other products, thanks to Windows 8 Metro. Windows 8 sales numbers won't look so good this quarter, without deferred revenue from $15 Windows 8 upgrade pre-orders. I hate Windows 8 Metro, so I bought an Asus Ubuntu laptop instead. Nice laptop $80 cheaper without the Microsoft tax of the Windows 8 version. Ubuntu is a great alternative to Microsoft Windows. The Google Chromebook is another good alternative product without Windows 8 Metro. Then there's the MacBook Air. You can even install Windows 7 on a MacBook air with Boot Camp and have a really nice laptop 2 operating systems and NO Metro Tiles! Nope, MSFT ain't going to $50 any time soon. Of course, Ballmer will never admit how lousy Windows 8 sales numbers really are. Also, in the reorg, he'll blame somebody else for Windows 8's failure. Ballmer can talk til he's blue in the face, but that' won't help Microsoft's declining market share.
