Nobody knows, but my guess is that they will be forced to go back to the "7" User Interface that everyone wants. For some reason; the people at Microsoft seem to be blind be the fact that nobody wants the "8". Microsoft would only add back the start button and not the start menu. I think that will come in Windows 9!
who really cares? The point is that by the time it comes out the mkt will have moved to non evil ware tablets with open office and cloud based documents. CIO's will be getting nice big cost save bonuses
throwing out the evil empire and it's money sucking minons. 100K employees X 12/month for failed office is 1.2M a year in savings just getting rid of evil empire office for free open office.
Looks like Microsoft is not giving up on the tile user start menu. They are just too stubborn to go to the next step the start menu. I think it will eventually come in Windows 9 - the look and feel of Windows 7!
