I am sure Microsoft has everyone's best interest by giving free upgrades via Windows Update. If you want to have a real Windows 8 dot 1 experience (the ultimate machine) it may be a better choice for a clean install onto a new hard drive or use a new machine. Keep Windows 7 as separate. It is the wise choice. I have been using Windows 8 dot 1 from the first day ( a long time now) both ways. I used the upgrade and clean install. Clean installs or fresh machines are always better. There are no two ways about it. If you do not know how to install a new hard drive in a notebook let Best Buy do it. Maybe people will be happy updating. I know people will be happy with a clean install. Not saying it is a bad idea just a clean install is a great idea.
Tile world is upgraded oh yee haw.
Win 8 is actually putting a huge dent in PC sales, what a software fail........Phone failed......what ever that dancing clicking device was is a fail........Sony is going to kill it Christmas time because the Xbox is going to be the next serious fail......
How many fails can MSFT have before investors head for the doors????? Google needs to come out with a stripped down OS for desktops.
MS isn't doing anyone a favor by having Servicability push .1 down as an upgrade. That push down will be done by Pilar Sorryass, the dumbest employee in the Windows division, if not the entire company.
