Windows is the only competition for Windows

Linux bums are making noise about Windows 8 losing market share, but note that none of it is going to the ridiculous Linux OS. It's going to other Windows versions. You have a PC, you want Windows. You certainly don't want Linux, which is the most dangerous virus known to man in that it cripples PC hardware.

    • Yes, it's not unusual for the alternate Windows versions to be less popular. That only makes people lap up the next version with extra eagerness, making it into a stupendous success! Microsoft marches on, just as per formula. The negative feedback cycle - it's a science at this point.

Meanwhile, Linux Loons have trouble admitting that their ridiculous creation Linux stinks to high heaven. This is why we see such little improvement in Linux. Even as late as 2005, Linux "distros" were having trouble with wheel mice. God, what a pathetic piece of software Linux is!

    • According to Netmarketshare, Windows 8, 8.1 and Vista combined have less than 15.5% market share. Twice as many computers are running XP, Mac OSX and Linux.
