Microsoft Corporation Message Board

    Why is the Surface Pro 3 a "MUST" for anyone doing real work

    Microsoft designed this hand in hand. The new keyboard and "TOUCH PAD" make Windows 8.1 and all the programs you use work perfectly. The accuracy of the touch pad means you can work faster. I switch back and forth between 4 or 5 programs all day long.
    The Surface Pro 3 is the only machine I have used where the touch scrolling or clicking on things does not seem to work exactly right. Guess what? It is the half ax~s other manufacturers and not the programs themselves. It feels solid as a rock even on this message board.
    No jumping around, clicking problems and everything just works and loads correctly. I am using an old legacy ftp program that did not work with 8.1 on other overseas brands. It works perfectly on the Surface Pro 3 and I do not have to run as Administrator or jump through hoops.

    The Surface Pro 3 will increase your work production dramatically. That is my opinion but I have been working on it and never had such a productive week before. I am killing it and the typing on this sleek feather weight machine is awesome. The touchpad is the best I ever used. Game changing machine because Microsoft designed it hand in hand and knew what to do.

    These other manufacturers need to wake the heck up. There is a difference and these other manufactures are responsible for a lot of problems Microsoft get's blamed for. Use the Surface Pro 3 and you will love Windows 8.1. Just my opinion but this is one heck of a machine man. Peace.

    • It replace the laptop.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • As I've noted before, MSFT got tired of relying on hardware producers to make first class hardware. MSFT saw with Apple did, when hardware and software were produced under the same roof, by people who wanted to create a great user experience, not make commodity hardware.

      MSFT, with Xbox, now Surface, and with Nokia phones, with Windows, is making hardware and software that create a great user experience, but they go beyond Apple - the MSFT user experience cuts across platforms, and segments - phone, tablet, home, work, etc.

      MSFT gets it. The others are playing catchup using ill-conceived strategies that won't get them in the same league as MSFT products. The next 2 years will be fun to watch.

      hand in hand with whom?

      the makers of the bad components that make it work poorly? why did they do that then? X-D

      does this message board make your other devices "jump around"? lots and lots of w8 users complain about that but none of them mention the yahoo! message boards. why would that be? (-;

      so the touchpad that doesn't work exactly right is the best you've ever used? that will sell lots of devices. X-D

      hand in hand with whom? you keep leaving that part out. do you mean with the chinese manufacturer and/or the makers of the crummy components? please either clarify or just leave out all the confusing nonsense. either one will improve your posts tremendously.

      what if msft woke up? they could just use components that work correctly. couldn't they? or not? less finger pointing and better products that way.

      but no ...
