I believe maxs is the solid player in this industry. Compared to
the top five, maxs is rated 5th by analysts. Look at the fundamentals.
Compare P/E ratios. I like cand also but its more of a gamble,
smaller, less established, less of a good fundamental tract record.
Should this industry take off i think we're in the right place.
I have read the SEC document on the Blum sale. The document says the sale will occur as soon as possible. If anyone has more info on when the sale will occur, please post here.
There are now 5 firms with recommendations on MAXS; 3 Strong Buys, and 2 Moderate Buys.
Bulls will be rewarded. After the close of the Blum sale, BT Alex Brown will issue a report, likely boosting the shares. In addition the new advertising will begin in the May issues of several fashion mags, creating more awareness. Luck to all
MAXS closed at $18 on Friday, this is an extremely good sign that the Blum Family shares will demand a good price. Four firms are taking part in the sale of the Blum shares, after they're sold, look for the stock to attract more attention from those whom were afraid to invest in MAXS because of the small float..the Blum shares will now be part of the float, making this a more liquid stock.
I am EXTREMELY BULLISH on MAXS.
With as many shares as he's got, you have to believe he's already made arrangements with some institutions to buy. You just don't dump that many shares on the market and expect to get their true value.
So Max is retiring and he wants to take his money out of risky investememts??? If he believs his company is going to continue to do well I dont understand why he wants to sell out just because he wont be going to work 9 to 5 anymore.
